The Kuvempu University Directorate of Distance Education (KUDDE) offers 40 programs in various disciplines in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Duly recognized by UGC-DDE, all the distance education degrees offered at KUDDE are equivalent to regular degrees. At the undergraduate level, programs like B.A., B. Sc., B. Com, BBA, B. L. I. Sc. are offered. At the postgraduate level, KUDDE offers M.A., M. Sc., MBA and M. L. I. Sc. KUDDE also offers a one-year postgraduate Diploma in six different areas of study.
Kuvempu University, an affiliating University of the state of Karnataka, established its Directorate of Distance Education in 2002 to facilitate the higher education aspirations of students who cannot pursue regular degree programs. The University has been ranked as 73rd in All India NIRF university ranking 2019.
Course Eligibility
1. Undergraduate applicants should have completed their 10+2 examination while postgraduate applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
2. Barring MBA, admission to all programs at KUDDE is on the basis of merit in qualifying examination.
3. For an MBA, applicants need to qualify an entrance test.
