Eligibility for Admission to Sanskrit M.A., B.A. degree with Sanskrit as Optional:

  1. Any Graduate with Sanskrit language or Sanskrit minor.

  2. Graduates who have passed the Sahitya Examination conducted by the Board of Sanskrit Education, Bangalore, (or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto).

  3. Candidates who have passed the Vidwan Examination conducted by the Board of Sanskrit Education. Karnataka Govt. (or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto) with basic qualification of S.S.L.C.

  4. Graduates who have passed Kannada Pandit Examination of the Govt. of Karnataka. (These eligibility conditions are subject to provisions made under the Admission Regulations).
